  • 1 section of fresh, raw pumpkin

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • Cut the outer skin off of the pumpkin
  • Slice the pumpkin into 1/2 inch thick pieces
  • Place the grill pan over high heat and drizzle olive oil onto the pan
  • Place the pumpkin onto the pan
  • Sprinkle salt over one side of pumpkin
  • Turn heat down to medium setting 
  • After 5 minutes, flip over and sprinkle the top side of pumpkin with salt
  • Cook for remaining 5 minutes or until pumpkin has become soft and has nice grill markings
